Tilda w/Big Ice Cream

In case anyone has been missing me heres the deal! I transferred to a new office in January, (and got a promotion). I wanted to start at a brand new office and work from the ground up. But I am working 10-18 hours of OT every week. So that's really cut down on my stamping. I have totally canceled my stamp club and this challenge at stamp and create is my only stamp obligation I am doing right now.
I seem to find time to buy fun stuff of course tho. In fact this Saturday I am taking a road trip with both my sisters to Federal Way, WA to Hobby Lobby. I have read a lot about them on some blogs but have never been to one myself. So I am really excited. Plus I think it has been at least over 10 years since I have done anything with both my sisters especially a road trip.

So on to my card:

If you hope on over to stamp and create store you can find some great things with really good prices. That is where I got this adorable Magnolia stamp called Tilda w/Big Ice Cream. They have all kinds of stamps over there and great embellishments also. I love all of their little charms too. Very fun!!
So this card is for the challenge at the Stamp and Create W/Magnolia Blog   challenge. I am on Team B and this week is a spring theme with buttons. You can check out all the great samples the other girls on the stamp and create Challenge blog have created to get some good ideas. If you join the challenge you have the chance to win a free magnolia stamp also.

I am also entering this card in the Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia challenge, ribbons or lace
and am using the sketch from sunday sketch and stamp .
I have colored this little gal with copic markers and used some fun sei papers that have ice cream cones and cotton candy on them. I have added some fun buttons too, even an ice cream cone button.
I had just enough of this fun swirly ribbon for one card left also.

Fun at the Beach!

We went to the beach this last weekend. It was sooo Gorgeous there! 80 degrees in parts of it. We drove down on the beach outside of Pacific City and saw this tree tucked away in a little cove like area. These look like bouys or whatever it is they put on the docks so the boats don't hit it. I am assuming someone did this to the tree but I don't know where they got them all.
It looked perfect like it was decorated for Easter. We also saw just a little bit of some whales, that was fun too.
We also made it to two scrapbook stores over there. It was a great day!
If only I could get my hubby to go to Mo's with me it would have been perfect!

Spring Crocus!

This card is made using the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday . I used some more of my pretty spring papers. I also used a stamp from Our Daily Bread. I stamped it twice on white diecut and then a third time on another piece of it. Then I colored it with copic markers and cut out the extra one and foam mounted it in the center of the two.
I used one of my new Martha Stewart butterfly border punches that came in a set of four. Two border and two regular. I think one of the regular ones is actually a corner punch. Anyway I saw a video on them and had to have them. Cant remember where I saw them.
I also used one of my new nesties on this card and ran the yellow die cut piece thru my all time favorite swiss dots embossing folder.

Happy Easter!

This cute little image is a digital image. I can remember where its from but it is the only easter image I purchased this year. I don't make a lot of Easter cards so I made this one and the Magnolia one.
I colored the image with copic markers and used a sketch that was a challenge last week. I originally took a picture of this card last weekend and accidentally deleted it. So here it is.

Stamp and Create Blog Challenge!

I made this card with some yummy new papers I picked up at Bargain Bills in Wisconsin. Not sure which town it was. But it was a cool store. It was a big warehouse and had lots of stuff. Flowers, beads, yarn, food, clothes, yard stuff. Great store!
These papers are from Graphic 45 Secret Garden collection. I this this magnolia stamp is Tilda w/Bunny but I am not positive.
This card is for the challenge at the Stamp and Create Magnolia blog for this week.

New Toys!

I know, I know! As if I didn't get enough new toys on vacation! These are some punches and a die I got in the mail today. I saw a U-tube video on these Martha stewart punches. They come in a set and I couldn't resist. They were so pretty done up.
I also saw this spellbinders die done into a card too and loved it. The die is called a Card Creator. I think because the largest die is big enough for the base of a card but they whole set isn't huge like the Grand Nesties. I cant wait to use these I just need more time off work!
Isnt it too bad we cant buy time??? That would be so cool!

Vacation with the Relatives!

Me with Aunts and Uncle
Phyllis and I are Mall of America

Part of the rides at Mall Of America

Blurry Pic Of Archievers Scrapbook store

View of the sunrise while drinking Chai tea
I was able to spend a week last week in Wisconsin with my relatives. We had a great time. We visited lots of relies, went to Mall of America, saw three scrapbook stores and lots of snow!
Each morning we would sit and watch the birds and squirrels eating their breakfast while we sat and drank our coffees and chai tea. (I also discovered I love chai tea while I was there!)
It was a great time.
Uncle Jim had been really sick so I spent quite a bit of time at the nursing home visiting him. He is getting much better.
I have been doing a little stamping since I got back so I will have some cards on my blog soon and some more fun pics from my trip!

Stamp and Create Magnolia Blog Challenge!

Here is my card the challenge this week at stamp and create magnolia blog . There are some cute cards over there. The theme this week is spring with some pastel. I have used the Tilda w/Pocket. I love this stamp. I a also used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp .
You can see the little butterfly charm at the lower left of the picture. I felt it went perfect with the spring theme. If you like little charms like this you can find a really good selection for very reasonable prices at stamp and create store . They have lots of magnolia stamps and other stamps too. They are a great place to shop with awesome service and prices, and selection. I guess I could just go on and on about them.
I am also entering this card in the challenge at Totally Tilda Challenge . Their theme this week is spots and dots, which I have on my paper and Tildas outfit. Magnolia Down Under whose them is lime and pink.
So if you need any great inspiration to get going with your lovely little Tildas go check them all out.

Love and Hugs!

I ordered from Whimsys Stamps this week. This kitty is from the Love and Hugs set from 2 Cute Ink and the balloon and star die down the side is from there also. They have lots of great dies and stamps plus some digi things too.
The kitty was colored like this on Whimsys Inspiration Magazine. I think the January issue. They have some great cards and especially coloring techniques in that magazine.
After I colored the kitty to match theirs I went on to use the sketch challenge from The Sweet Stop . The card you see in the back I forgot part of the sketch and so I made a new one and added the doily to make it more complete.
I had fun with this set and the die. The die does show up more in the card in the background. I have recently ordered some more dies from Whimsys also, so come back later to see what I have done with them.

My Fairy Garden!

Here are some pictures of my fairy garden I just made. I would like to get one more fairy to sit on the bench but none of the fairys I saw did that. Some were kneeling but not sitting so I will keep looking.
I have a new bakers rack shelving unit I ordered and I am going to paint it and then I will have this as one of my center pieces.
I got everything for this garden at the local nursery. (The same one with the great cats). The jar I got at Michaels for half the price they were selling the containers for at the nursery. Michaels did have some things there too. Not necessarily for a fairy garden but it seems like terriums are in style again.
Lots of fairy gardens have live plants but I decided to go with one that doesnt. So I got a bag of little rocks, moss, the fairy and other items all at the nursery. They do have cool air plants that you only water once a week but I decided to not go the live route at all .

WOYWW!

The hubby went upto Vancouver to have dinner with Kati last weekend. She was showing us all around. Then we had dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory. It was sooo yummy. It sure has changed since I was there last. They only had spaghetti then. Now they have lots more and plus the same great atmosphere.
Anyway, since we were up there of course I had to go to Craft Warehouse. I found these Artbin products to store your dies in. I am going to try them out and see how I like them. This is like my third storage system for my dies, no my fourth actually. Anyway, they were on sale for a great deal and so I picked them up. So I will have to keep you posted on how I like them.
So this is Whats on your workdesk Wednesday for me this week!

Rain or Shine!

This is another SU card. This stamp set and embossing folder are also out of the new mini catty. I really like the umbrellas that come with this set. The little bit of ds paper is out of the Sale A Bration catty. I used a little flower punch and some rhinestones. Ribbon is also out of the catty and the green and pink strips are Washi tape I got for christmas.
I cased this cute little card from Inking Idaho . She is a stampin up demonstrator and has a great blog with lots of ideas. I changed her card just a tiny. You can check her out, she has some great stuff.

Secret Garden!

This card is all SU. The papers are out of the Sale A Bration catty and the flower is from the spring mini catty. It is called Secret. I stamped it and colored it with copic markers. Then cut it out with the matching dies for the two layers and the third layer was the very center so I had to cut it out by hand. The flowers were really fun to color. When I had them all cut out I added some white smooch paint over the top to give it a nice shimmer and added the brad also from SU. The greeting is an individual stamp from SU and the large white piece is also an SU die. There is a piece of Island Indigo ribbon across the center of the card but you can hardly tell it is there from this picture. The ds paper is also layered with Island Indigo cs.

Glorious Cake!

This is my finished card from WOYWW!. I thinks she is so cute and she really has her hands full with this cake! This image is from Lili of the Valley (LOTV). They have the cutest images! I am thinking about ordering some of the newest releases even tho I have only used a few of the ones I have.
I made this card with the sketch from sweet sketch wednesday . I colored the image with copic markers. Added some glitter gel pens and glitter. I pulled some papers out of my stash from last year I think.
